The Roanoke Valley Greenway Commission serves as an advisory board, coordinating among the five member jurisdictions. The Commission includes up to five appointed members from each of the participating localities, as well as representatives of several partner organizations.  See Current Commission members below.

Meetings

The Commission meets at 4:00 pm on the fourth Wednesday of every month,  except July, November, and December. The default meeting location is the fourth floor Training Room of the Roanoke County Administration Center, 5204 Bernard Drive, but the meetings do move around from locality to locality. Please contact someone about meeting specifics.

Membership

Each locality may appoint up to two staff members and three citizens to the Commission. Citizens interested in being appointed should fill out the appropriate form for the locality wherein they live or contact a staff member.
